The abductors of 26 women from Allawa Community in the Shiroro Local Government Area of Niger State, who were abducted in February this year, have released a video featuring two of the captives.
In the 30-second video obtained by KOKO TV NG on Friday, the women pleaded with their families and relatives to provide the 130 motorcycles demanded by the abductors for their release.
The women were kidnapped seven months ago along the Allawa-Pandogari Road during a brutal attack in which eight men were also killed by the terrorists.
Since the abduction, the families of the kidnapped women have been struggling to meet the kidnappers’ demands.

The captors initially requested five motorcycles for each of the 26 women, but the families had been unable to meet their requirement.
In the video, one of the abducted women, who appears to have sustained a leg injury, is heard pleading, “Umar, please talk to Abdulrahman.
“They have brought me to a service area now. They said they cannot release me until the items they demanded are delivered. They said I should talk so that you will hear my voice. For the sake of Allah and His Prophet, help bring the items.
“They said if you bring the items, they will release me along with Hajiya. I am here with Hajiya.”
The video is coming out days after terrorists murdered the District Head of Gatawa, Isa Muhammad Bawa, who had also pleaded in a video before his brutal killing.

Before his tragic death, a distressing video surfaced showing the late Bawa pleading for his life and urging the government to intervene.
