TBT: Throwback To The Days of Stand Up Collar Hackett Shirts

Over a decade ago, the Nigerian fashion world witnessed a shaking with the arrival of Hackett shirts. Initially, we all felt it will never be accepted by the Nigerian public due to its unethical “collar-standing state”, but with time, it became so trendy that we felt it will never fade.
We all remember those days when we would fly our shirt with the collar standing tall to display the brand’s name “Hackett”. We all remember being green with envy when our friend’s Hackett looks better than ours. LOL. The deep rooted fashion wars that eventually drove some individuals to steal clothes from others.
Well as fresh as those memories may be in our mind, an 18-year-old adult today is most likely to have little or no idea of what an Hackett looked like. So give cherish yourself my good friend. You are a part of an history that may never be relived again.
