With the introduction of the #10YearsChallenge, Nigerians and people all over the world have been sent down a trip through memory lane, as pictures were being shared from 10 years ago and compared with a present-day picture. And in that same spirit, we are going to be looking at how our world was totally different 10 years from now.
1. We Had No Idea who Wizkid or Davido Was: 
10 years ago the name Wizkid meant nothing to Nigerians, with Wizkid’s ‘Holla At Your Boy’ coming out in 2011 and Davido’s ‘Back When’ coming out in 2012, I am sure they wouldn’t have believed, if someone would have told them they would be toping the Nigerian music scene in 2019 back in 2009.
2. There Was No Instagram:
It’s hard to imagine life without this social media app, but back in 2009 there was nothing like Instagram, with the app officially being launched in 2010 and available for Android devices in 2012, there was nothing like basing our self-esteem on how many likes we got on a photo 10 years ago.
3. Umaru Musa Yar’Adua Was The President Of Nigeria:Â 
Before Buhari and Jonathan, Nigeria had a leader called Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, unfortunately, he died before he could finish his term, I wonder what Nigeria would have been like if he hadn’t died.
4. Cristiano Ronaldo Just Got Signed Into Real Madrid: 
Before the Ronaldo and Messi rivalry, Ronald was enjoying his reign over the English football league and it was heartbreaking for Man-United fans when he left the club for Real Madrid in 2009.
5. Kanye West Interrupted Taylor swift Speech:
The whole world was shocked when US Rapper Kanye West interrupted Taylor swift has she was about to give her thank you speech for winning the Best Female Video over Beyonce. The controversy was so great that then American President, Barack Obama came out to call him and asshole.
