Taraba Lifts COVID-19 Restrictions Ahead Of LG Polls

Taraba State has suspended the COVID-19 restrictions imposed to limit the spread of COVID-19 in the state to enable residents perform their electoral duties at the Local Government polls.
This was made known via a statement released by the State Governor’s spokesman, Bala Dan Abu, which states that residents are free from the restrictions between 23rd June to 6th July.Taraba Lifts COVID-19 Restriction Ahead Of LG Polls
Government has, however, advised the people not to forget to observe all the already well-publicised measures against the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.  government also reminded the general public that the state’s borders with its neighbours remain closed until further notice and security agencies are under instruction to enforce the closure strictly“, part of the statement reads.

So far, Taraba has recorded 18 cases of COVID-19, with only eight active cases as 10 recoveries were made as at of Sunday evening and no death.
