Talented Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has taken to Instagram to ask that people be nice to others who ask them for help.
In a short and educative post, the mother of one noted that she too has to beg for help sometimes and it is embarrassing to be in such situations. She noted that adding a rude and unpleasant behaviour to the asker’s situation makes things worse. She added that though people have taken advantage of the social media by asking at the slightest chance they have, she still thinks one needs not be harsh on those who ask. “Sometimes asking people for help can be more disturbing for the people asking than the actual giver. I know a lot of people have taken advantage of social media by asking at the slightest chance but I think we should take it easy on people that ask for help because sometimes, when I ask people for help it is always very embarrassing for me.
