Sylvester Oromoni: Ijaw Youths Vow To Occupy Dowen College If School Is Reopened

Ijaw Youths today camped in front of Dowen College Lekki demanding justice on the death of Sylvester Oromoni a 12-year-old student who was bullied and beaten in the school. The protesting youths raised placards at the gate of the school wearing a T-shirt with his picture printed on it.

They stated that their son cannot die and their own children will walk into the school as they demand justice for the lost soul. They shared that the report is false and Lagos state government can do better. They threatened that if the school reopens they will descend on the school in full power and teach them a lesson.

sylvester oromoniThey called on the Lagos state governor to use his full power and not be a part of the injustice playing out on the case. The Ijaw youth also offered traditional prayers of vengeance at the entrance of the school.
