A Nigerian lawyer Tope Akinyode has filed a court suit to challenge Adamu Garba and his case against Jack Dorsey for Twitter.
Recall that Adamu Garba had on Jack’s streets of Twitter accused him of meddling into Nigeria’s situation and asked through a suit filed that he pays $1Bn to Nigeria and settle all the victims that have been affected by ‘his intransigent orchestration’.
Taking to the same streets of Twitter, Tope Akinyode, who won the DSS on the SSS against the10 weeks detention of a Nigerian Anthony Okolie over an MTN SIM card once used by the daughter of President Buhari, Hanan, noted that he has filed a suit challenging Adamu, giving pictorial evidences of the affidavit attached to the suit. “Having been consulted by friends & colleagues, I’ve filed court processes to challenge @adamugarba‘s lawsuit against @jack & @Twitter. Jack’s support for Nigeria’s cause is commendable. We’ll protect our freedom of expression & resist the move to ban Twitter in Nigeria“, he tweeted. Replying, however, in a series of tweets, Adamu revealed he is worried about Nigerians and how they can make to defend Jack who according to him, violated Nigeria’s sovereignty by calling for a donation to sustain a protest that lead to damages to the country, after the President acceded to Protesters request.‘ “I really do hope he pays you in dollars that he takes away from this country without corresponding investments, except to encourage mayhem and disorder. He will have to pay $1Bn to Nigeria and settle all the victims that have been affected by his intransigent orchestration”, he added.
