Stop Stereotyping Older Women As Mummies And Aunties – Michelle Dede

Nollywood actress and TV personality Michelle Dede has addressed one of the chronic problems in the Nigerian movie industry and has called on producers, filmmakers and scriptwriters to make the change,
This is coming after she saw a movie Ratched where the lead female casts are all over 50 years of age in reality except one.
Taking to her Instastory and Twitter handle, Michelle Dede is of the opinion that older women in the industry can do better than the stereotyped roles of mother, wicked mother-in-laws or aunties that they are most times given.
