Nollywood actor Sam Nnabuike has sent some words to his followers and the general public at large, to stop building gigantic, luxurious and multi-million naira mansion in their villages, especially his fellow kinsmen of the Igbo tribe, who mostly do this.

Sam Nnabuike said this in some stories he put out on his Instagram page, noting that the Igbo term aku ruo uno doesn’t necessarily mean they should do that. In Igboland, ‘aku ruo uno’ is a term which suggests that when you are reach, you extend goodness, riches and wealth to your kindred.Stop Building Multi-Million Naira Mansions In Your Village - Sam NnabuikeMaking clarifications, the actor said noted that he is not against the idea of building houses in villages, especially for comfort during festive periods when they usually visit their source but opined that building multi-million naira mansion which they go to once a year is not smart enough. “Aku ruo Uno doesn’t necessarily mean you should build a multimillion naira mansion you only visit once a year in your hometown or village. You build a gigantic edifice in your village and then lock it up until another Christmas festivities”, he began.

Giving his reason, Sam Nnabuike added, “The most painful part is the few times, You visit your village home, you always end up spending millions on maintenance. If you aren’t looking to run for politics in the nearest future as a wealthy man. You have no business building a multi-million naira mansion in your hometown. Period”, he added.
