An outgone National Youth Service Corps member Stephen Teru has shown true patriotic deeds in service as he built over 80 furniture for students of 2 public schools in his host community with his carpentry skills.
The young man who was posted to Cross River State for the 2018 Batch C Stream 1 took to social media to show his skills, as well as showcase his kind deeds while appreciating his family, host community, NYSC officials, PPA staff, fellow corps members and friends for their supports.
Sharing pictures from the work in progress to the finished commodities in use, on Wednesday, a day before his Passing Out Parade from the National Service, Stephen Teru wrote, “To God be the glory! I volunteered my skill to produce desks, tables, benches and shelves for the comfort of over 80 students and pupils of the two public schools (Community Secondary School and St. Georges Primary School) in my host community -Old Netim, Akamkpa LGA. Cross River State.
