The Nigerian sporting world is in mourning again as 42-year-old sports journalist Bunmi Ashebu has passed on. According to reports, Bunmi passed after months of battling duct cancer. She had pleaded for the assistance of the public for help with er treatment but eventually passed on. Bunmi had been  diagnosed with stage 4 cholangiocarcinoma. A very rare form of bile duct cancer and the cancer had spread to her liver. She was flown to a German hospital for treatment but started reacting to the chemotherapy and her organs began to fail after 6 weeks. She eventually passed on Feb. 12th. May her soul rest in peace.
