Pastor David Ibiyeomie of the Salvation Ministries has said that social media showed people’s true identity. In a post shared on Instagram, the man of God explained that people should be mindful of what they post online as it is a reflection of who they are in the real world.
He shared that many develop a notion about you from what you post and the friends they see on your page. The pastor explained that international organizations check social media backgrounds before employment and once they see certain views and notions you have supported over the years they drop you. David Ibiyeomie further explained that most organizations now include social media background checks as a factor before the interview.
He said everyone has a personal and social life urging them to keep their personal life to themselves and also stating that no one on social media posts anything they aren’t proud of.
