A former Aviation Minister, Osita Chidoka has lashed out at the police for invading a church during mass to arrest Imo politician, Uche Nwosu.

Recall that Nwosu was arrested on Sunday.

Nwosu, a former governorship candidate in Imo and son-in-law of ex-Imo governor, Rochas Okorocha, was attending the outing service for his late mum at the St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Eziama-Obaire in Nkwerre Local Government Area of Imo State on Sunday, December 26, when security agents stormed the church and arrested him.
Nwosu, a former governorship candidate in Imo and son-in-law of ex-Imo governor, Rochas Okorocha, was attending the outing service for his late mum at the St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Eziama-Obaire in Nkwerre Local Government Area of Imo State on Sunday, December 26, when security agents stormed the church and arrested him.
Chidoka in his reaction said this is unacceptable and the church and ”well-meaning” Nigerians shouldn’t take it lying low.

”So Police entered a Church and arrested Uche Nwosu? They desecreated the Church to make an arrest?
This is unacceptable and the Church and all well-meaning Nigerians should not take this lying down.
Nigerian Police just fell to a new low under a clueless national leadership.”
