You must have noticed a series of unexpected changes when you logged into your Snapchat account on Monday morning. Well with the look of things, you are definitely not alone. The sudden update of the global Snapchat app, triggered a wide range of criticism from a good number of users since Monday morning.
Though the goal of the newly redesigned app was to make it easier to use, Snapchat is getting a huge number of criticism that the new app is too complex to navigate.
As a matter of fact, a Change.org petition asking the company to remove the new update has gathered more than 600,000 signatures this morning.
Some of the changes in the app include: a designated page for publishers and a page for friends, photos and videos shared by users that disappear after 24 hours, are now mixed in with direct messages and individual Snaps. Users you’ve interacted with recently appear higher on the screen rather than a list of recent stories. See some tweets on the update below:
I thought people were overreacting about the Snapchat update, mines just updated and it’s literally the worst thing to ever happen on this planet ever

I would’ve been fine with the Snapchat update if they didn’t put all the people I actually follow in a black hole, and people I specifically DON’T follow at the top…. ?
