Popular ace comedian AY Makun slams all those Nigerians who would rather promote and project foreign artistes who they don’t know for free and charge local artistes or Nigerian artistes exorbitant fees so as to promote their works.
The movie producer who is popular for helping bring through a lot of young talented comedians giving them a platform to grow and showcase their talents, took to his Twitter page to bash such persons while further noting that the only reasons foreign acts became so popular and famous was because their own people projected them to such loft heights for the world to notice.Â
He shared this thought on his Twitter handle on Saturday, December 12.
It reads
”Slavery mentality is when you are excited to promote & project foreign artistes who don’t even know you for free, & then ask your own local artistes to pay you. The only reason they became famous, was because their own people projected them for the rest of the world to notice”
