Veteran British film star Sir Ian Mckellen is one of the first few celebrities to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, the Harry Potter star said after receiving the vaccine that he feels good and happy to have received the vaccine while encouraging more people to receive the Pfizer discovered COVID-19 vaccine.
The 81-year-old star of the X-Men and Lord of the Rings films said he felt “euphoric” to be vaccinated at Queen Mary’s University Hospital in London.
“Anyone who has lived as long as I have is alive because they have had previous vaccinations,” said the veteran actor.
He said on his official Twitter page that he was lucky to have received the vaccine and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to other people to receive it. There’s been a lot of scepticism about the newly discovered vaccine with the belief it was rushed and just maybe it might still not be perfect and might have side effects in the long run, or if its all part of a cynical motive and mission by world powers.
