Singer Iyanya has received a political appointment with the Cross River State governor, Ben Ayade. The singer has been appointed the Senior Special Assistant to the governor on tourism and entertainment.
The list of the new appointees under the governor’s new cabinet has been released and they are to resume with immediate effect. The singer’s former record label boss, Ubi Franklin shared the good news on his Instagram page and congratulated his brother on the achievement. The singer a few days ago had also taken to his page to praise the Cross River state governor before the big news of his appointment was revealed to fans. Colleagues and fans of the singer have taken to social media to congratulate him on the huge milestone.
