Singer Betty Wright has passed away at the age of 66. The “tonight is the night” singer passed away at the age of 66 from cancer.
The death of the singer was announced by her friend and singer Chaka Khan on Instagram last night. “Brothers & Sisters, we mourn the loss of a beautiful soul this morning in my sister and friend #BettyWright God Bless her in heaven. I will miss her so, as I know you all will as well,” Betty released hit songs including ‘Tonight is the Night’, ‘Where is the Love’ and ‘No Pain, No Gain’ during her lifetime.
