“Silly And Utterly Ridiculous”…Dillian Whyte Lambasts Anthony Joshua’s Fight Offer

British heavyweight boxer Dillian Whyte has lambasted Anthony Joshua for offering him an ‘utterly ridiculous’ fight offer. Whyte, whose only professional defeat was at the hands of Joshua, defeated rival Chisora in round 11 last month to put himself in prime position for the long-awaited rematch following AJ’s stalling negotiations with Deontay Wilder and the American’s inevitable rematch with Tyson Fury.Whyte stated: “There’s been the first offer, but it is utterly ridiculous, its way less than what I made against Chisora basically. They’re not serious about the fight, I think they made the offer to cover themselves, but it’s a ridiculous offer, the offer comes with other options as well so they’re not serious about the fight. It’s silly; I’m a pay-per-view fighter, I’ve built myself up. It’s not like I’m a journeyman, I worked my way up to number one with two governing bodies. I don’t think he wants the fight, there are easier paydays out there for him and he knows I’ll bring problems to his mum’s house. It is a childish offer, if you want to fight, you make a proper offer, you know what I bring to the table. Me, Tyson Fury and Wilder, you can’t sell out Wembley with anyone else. It looks like Fury will fight Wilder [again] so he needs to stop messing about.”Photo Credit: Getty
