Sierra Leone has announced and confirmed its first case of the global pandemic, coronavirus in it’s country.
This was disclosed by the nation’s president, Julius Maada Bio made the announcement in a nationwide broadcast.

He said “When I did my first coronavirus press conference, I said that it was not a matter of if, but when. Well, ‘when’ has come.”
This means that all countries in West Africa now have the virus and Sierra Leone becomes the 48th African country with the presence of coronavirus.
