Showing The People You Helped On Social Media Is Embarrassing – Asemota

Victor Asemota
Tech entrepreneur and investor Victor Asemota has publicly faulted people who help others and then come to announce it on social media.
Making his opinion known in a tweet, Asemota noted that people who do such should not have helped the people they did in the first place as it shows that the help is coming from a place of pride and not compassion.
He further noted that showing the beneficiaries on social media is an embarrassment to them and creates needless discomfort to them.

“People who do good and proceed to advertise it, should never have done that act in the first place. It came from a place of pride and not empathy or compassion. They embarrass the people they helped and create needless discomfort. All that inspiration to others talk is garbage”, he tweeted. Photos Credit: Getty
