Shots Fired! Ice Prince Reacts After Eldee Fires Olu Maintain For Performing His Songs, Calls Him A Shameless Nigga

The battle line seems to have been drawn between two veteran artists Eldee and Olu Maintain, as the former blasted the later for performing their duo ‘like he created them’. Eldee who shared a recent video of Olu Maintain performing their 2008 collaboration ‘Big Boy’ which featured Banky W and Oladele said in a now-deleted post that: “this shameless nigga goes out on stages performing my songs like he created it. I still remember how he tried to steal the record right after I put him on it, forcing me to put it out prematurely. Nigga ran off with the unmastered draft and went to print CDs with himself as the lead artist, even his verse was written by me. Lesson to all young artists, don’t ever do pity features’. This statement drew rapper Ice Prince out who had to explain that artists featured on songs should have the right to perform them too, except there’s a contract negating that. He said: ” I remember this record was promoted as an Eldee da don featuring Banky W and Olu Maintain records…I believe any of the artiste/producers/engineers/manager behind this project has the right and should be allowed to perform/promote the record #Bigboy on any day and every platforms at whatever time given, except if deals were signed that contradicts or says otherwise…this is what keeps the record alive and the legacy forever BOSS. He went on to express his displeasure at the veteran rapper saying he looks up to him a lot. He said: “Haba boss I actually look up to you a lot a lot a lot!!!
