Shocking! Local Dogs Kill 6 Children In India

Stray feral dogs killed six children and injured more than 24 others in the first week of this month in north India.
The wild killing spree agitated the locals to embark on a kill-all-dogs mission in the community. The senior police officer in the district, Anand Kulkarni confirmed the attacks to The independent. He disclosed that the children – whose age ranged between 5 and 12 years old, have been killed around Sitapur town.
He further added that many of the attacks occurred when the children were gathering mangoes outside or when they left their homes to use public toilets.
As at the time of this report, the precise number of dogs involved in the deadly attack has have not been arrived at. India has millions of strays that wander the streets in almost all communities. The stray dogs often survive on leftover food set in alleys for them, but also face constant hatred from the locals, and regularly fight other dogs over territory.
