During the pastor’s trial, the Magistrate, Mrs. Eke Spiff, reportedly ordered all journalists to leave the courtroom which they willingly did. However, they remained in the court premises to continue covering the story. A policewoman allegedly warned them to leave the court premises to avoid an attack from the church members, but the journalist decision to ignore her turned pout to be a decision they will live to regret as the church members eventually attacked the journalist when they were trying to get a photo of the pastor while he was leaving the court.
