A Buddhist monk has shocked fellow passengers by appearing to perform a solo sex act on a bus as he stares at a woman’s legs. The grinning man was travelling on the number 28 bus in Bangkok when he hitched up his orange robes and appeared to start pleasuring himself.
He was filmed by a woman who was disgusted at the monk’s actions, and she said she plans to pass the footage on to police. One female onlooker said the man, described as being in his 50s, leered over his shoulder at a woman’s legs before stroking his groin on Tuesday afternoon. He was seen grinning widely as he continued his sordid act in the Thai capital.
After appearing to brazenly touch himself for three minutes, he eventually covered his groin with his robe before casually getting off the bus near the Victory Monument. The onlooker said: ”I witnessed this on the number 28 bus on Tuesday at about 3pm. The monk was in his 50s and he looked at the woman behind him. He turned his eyes at her legs through the gap in between the seats. Her legs were crossed and open slightly. He then started to ‘help himself’. I was shocked by it and the temple he works at should know what he has done. This is an example of monks behaving badly and he should be punished. It is disrespectful to Buddhism.”
