Shettima, Adamu Meet APC NASS Members

The Vice President-Elect, Kashim Shettima, is currently meeting senators-elect and members of the House of Representatives-elect of the All Progressives Congress, who had been invited to a parley with the party’s national leadership.

The meeting which began minutes before 3 pm was held at the State House Banquet Hall, Abuja. Although journalists were not allowed into the banquet hall, our correspondent spotted Shettima, Senate President Ahmed Lawan; Speaker of House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila; Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola; Senator Godswill Akpabio, APC Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu; amongst others, arriving for the meeting. In related news, INEC issued the certificate of return to the candidate of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and his running mate, Kashim Shettima, despite major disagreemnet from the opposition parties. Tinubu, a former Lagos State governor, was declared the president-elect after he polled 8,794,726 votes to win the 2023 presidential election.
