Shatta Wale Hails Nigerian Artists, As He Slams His Fellow Ghanaian Artists

Ghanaian singer Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr. popularly known as Shatta Wale has come out to hail the Nigerian music industry.shatta wale

Taking to social media, Shatta Wale praised the Nigerian music industry while also describing the music scene in his country as “class 2 children”. According to the Ghanaian reggae-dancehall artist, Nigerians need to build universities in African countries so their music can be studied.

In a video that has gone viral, the singer revealed how he took time to listen to the songs of Olamide, Wizkid, Davido, Asake, Fireboy and he realised that they are fantastic. Hearing the singer say this comes as a shock because of his past biff with Nigerian musicians.

Shatta Wale, formerly Bandana, likened Nigerian music to legendary popstar Michael Jackson. Having listened to all the songs the only conclusion was for the music to be studied in what he called “Cultural Studies.”
