Seyi Shay will release her new “Electric Package Vol. 1” EP on May 11, 2018.

The singer admits the studio work was inspired by her viral HipTv interview blunder, which made the singer a trending topic that lasted for weeks on the Nigerian internet in 2016.

“Electric Package Vol. 1” features collaboration including “Surrender” with Kiss Daniel and Dj Neptune, “Alele” with Flavour and Dj Consequence, and “D Vibe” featuring Slimcase and South Africa’s DJ Tira. Seyi Shay and her team held an exclusive listening party on Wednesday, at Zanbar in Victoria Island, Lagos. The private event was attended by the media and her celebrity friends including Chidinma, Dj Neptune, Seyi Sodimu, and Davido’s former manager, Kamal Ajiboye.

KrissBeatz, Lush and KillaTunez received production credits for the six-track studio work that also featured Tanzania’s Vanessa Mdee and DJ Cuppy on “Love You Scatter”, DJ Spinall and Ghana’s King Promise.
On Wednesday Seyi Shay and comedian Bovi were announced as the hosts for the 2018 Headies Awards.
