Europa: Sevilla Defeat To Make Ten Hag Sell Man United Players – Scholes

Manchester United legend, Paul Scholes has claimed the club’s manager, Erik ten Hag would have made up his mind about the fate of some players following Thursday night’s loss to Sevilla.

The Red Devils have been eliminated from the Europa League after being thrashed 3-0 by Mendilibar’s side which progressed with a 5-2 aggregate.

According to the former United midfielder, the squad was “not good enough” and the players fall short when they find themselves in “big atmosphere”.

Scholes told BT Sport: “I think tonight has made Ten Hag’s mind up on a few of these players – that is probably the only good thing that will come out of this for Ten Hag.

“This shows the squad isn’t good enough, if you have injuries. This squad can handle other games but when it comes to the crunch games, big atmosphere, it falls short.”
