‘Sergio Ramos Injured Mo Salah Intentionally’…Former Egypt Striker Hossam Mido

Former Egypt striker Ahmed Hossam Mido has accused Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos of ‘intentionally’ injuring Liverpool star Mohamed Salah on Saturday night.Salah was unable to complete the first half of the Champions League final, which Liverpool went on to lose 3-1 following his departure. A shoulder problem forced Salah into a premature exit after he tangled with Ramos who then landed on top of the Reds star while their arms were linked.Salah was seen as Liverpool’s chief threat having scored a remarkable 44 goals for them this season. And Mido has suggested that Ramos deliberately put the 25-year-old out of the game.Tweeting in Arabic, Mido – who played for Tottenham, West Ham, Middlesbrough and Wigan during his playing career – wrote: ‘Anyone that understands football would know that Ramos injured Salah intentionally.’ He added: ‘Any player in the world would’ve released his arm but Ramos held onto his arm and spun with it.’Photo Credit: Getty
