The APC campaign team has reiterated its earlier stance that the inclusion of Enugu state’s Senator Ken Nnamani into its campaign list was a deliberate act, and not a mistake.
The APC has over the weekend, released the names of the people that will aid the party in the forthcoming general election.
Nigerians were taken aback, when the name of the former Enugu State governor, appeared on the list.
The committee however excluded the former speaker of the Federal House of Representative, Yakubu Dogara, the former Secretary of the Federation, Babachir Lawal, the Vice- President, Yemi Osinbajo and the current SGF, Boss Mustappha.
The Spokesperson of the Tinubu Campaign team, Festus Kenyamo, in an interview with newsmen maintained that the APC did not make any mistake during the compilation of the list. The minister of state for Labour argued that politics is a personal decision, and Nnamani has decided to work with the APC.
When quizzed about how a PDP member will work for APC during the campaign, Kenyamo stated that the matter is up to Nnamani and the PDP. He further argued that the APC will work with anybody, as long as it for the interest of the country.
