Senate Leader Bukola Saraki Accuses APC Of Lack Of Focus

Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki has described the ruling party, All Progressives Congress (APC) as presently lacking in focus and challenged the party’s chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun to address the challenge.Saraki while speaking at a forum in Abuja on Thursday said the APC leadership under Oyegun needed to wake from its slumber to start managing the party. The senate president said he retained the hope that the party would hold a mini-convention soon having elected delegates to the convention. While responding to questions about his commitment to the APC, Saraki described himself as an APC member in “body and spirit” and described people questioning his loyalty to the party as mischievous persons who found room for such mischief because the party leadership had not been organising meetings and mini-conventions.Photo Credit: Getty
