Ekiti state PDP Governorship primary election that held on the 8th of May, 2018

The current Deputy Governor of Ekiti State, Professor Kolapo Olusola has emerged as the winner of the Ekiti PDP Primary Elections which automatically makes him the candidate for PDP at the governorship election which is scheduled to hold on July 14, 2018. The primary election that held on the 8th of May, 2018 was reportedly free, fair and peaceful.
Olusola defeated his rival, former Minister of State for Works, Dayo Adeyeye to emerge winner in the governorship primary election. The incumbent Governor of Ekiti state, Ayodele Fayose seem to be excited about the PDP candidate for the governorship election as he was all smiles when he presented Olusola to party members present at the election.
