The 2019 African music awards (AFRIMA 2019) as true to its traditions would be recognizing great talents from the African music industry and to this, it’s organizers have released the list of nominees for this year’s award ceremony which would be holding on the 21-23 Of November 2019. Nigerian Singer, Burna Boy who’s recently been everywhere in the music industry dominated the nominees list with multiple nominations. Other Nigerian artistes who made it to the AFRIMA 2019 list includes, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Simi, Kizz Daniel, Davido, Teni, Niniola and Yemi Alade. Burna, Wizkid, Kizz Daniel and Davido were nominated for the best male artistes from West Africa for their songs: Burna boy with his song “Ye”, Davido’s “Wonder Woman”, Kizz Daniel’s “Madu”, Wizkid’s “Fever”. In the female category from Nigeria, Simi’s “I Dun Care”; Tiwa Savage’s “One”; Teni’s “Case”; Yemi Alade’s “Oh My Gosh”; Niniola’s Bana made the list. See the full list below
