The biggest names in African football converged in Ghana yesterday (Jan 4) for the highly anticipated 2017 CAF Awards, and as expected, Liverpool’s Mohammed Salah walked away with the highly coveted African player of the year award.
Nigeria’s Asisat Oshoala retained her crown as the best African female footballer for the third time in a row after she out shined Cameroon’s Gabrielle Aboudi Onguene and Chrestina Kgatlana of South Africa to lift the continental award.
