Wedding planners have secrets they are not telling. A perfect wedding entails getting your planning system right. With good planning, the level of unexpected mishaps would be reduced. Wedding planners are hired to put a lot of these things in place. However, wedding planners also have their own fair share of events while planning the wedding. There are some secrets they would never tell you upon signing the contract of planning your wedding.
1. Something will go wrong: Expecting a perfect wedding can sometimes be a mirage. Something is definitely bound to go wrong when planning the wedding. However, this is one secret your wedding planner would never tell you. They would even go as far as convincing you to the best wedding ever!
2. Accountable to whoever is paying the bills: If you have your parents taking the major part of your wedding expenses, then don’t expect your planner to be 100% loyal to you. They may however try to be diplomatic in order to run a smooth planning.
3. Insufficient funds: Planning a wedding requires a lot of skills and these wedding planning professionals need to always top their efforts. The estimated bills may not cover the whole planning process, but a professional wedding planner would not let you in on this. They would rather look for alternative means in order to satisfy their clients.
4. It is stressful: Most wedding planners are seen as super human, but the truth is planning a wedding is always overwhelming. However, they would never let out their stress cry to their clients, after all, that why they were hired in the first place.
5. Preferred set of vendors: Most wedding planners have their own preferred set of vendors they usually like to work with. If you have another plan concerning the vendors you wold like to make available, do well to inform your planner on time.
6. Decisions may change: Sometimes wedding planners need to use their discretion to avoid certain failures. They wouldn’t let you know that things are not going according to plan.
7. Emotions and judgement: Your wedding planner might be your sister of distant cousin, but the bottom line is that sometimes, emotions could becloud judgement. It is not so easy trying to balance emotions from real work as a wedding, but some do the job quite satisfactorily.
