Schools Are Not Resuming In June – State Education Minister

The Minister of State for Education, Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba, has cleared the air on speculations that schools will be opened in June.
This is coming after reports made rounds on social media that academic activities nationwide will be resumed on Monday, June 8.Schools Are Not Resuming In June - State Education MinisterSpeaking at the daily Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 briefing today, Nwajiuba noted that the information which was said to have been dished out from the task force is totally false.

He noted that the FG is not ready to allow children resume so as not to expose them to the virus. He added that the Ministry will follow the guidelines and advice from the Ministry of Health and the NCDC before schools can be reopened.Schools Are Not Resuming In June - State Education Minister
