The date of release to the sequel of 2016 hit movie, Wives on Strike has been revealed and we are proud to announce that your favourite quartet Omoni Oboli, Uche Jombo, Chioma Akpotha and Ufuoma McDermott will be returning for their popular roles.
Titled Wives on Strike: The Revolution, the sequel will also feature Kenneth Okonkwo and Julius Agu and will have a TV series spin-off as well. Director of the sequel, Oboli, described the film as a gift that keeps giving.
‘Wives on Strike’ is a gift that keeps on giving. So, yes, we have a series. We have actually finished shooting that,’ she said. ‘And, we do have a sequel coming up as well. We have ‘Wives on Strike’ part 2, it’s called ‘Wives on Strike: The Revolution.’ So get ready for the revolution.’ Wives on Strike: The Revolution is expected in cinemas from December 29, 2017.
