Following the comments Superstar Rapper, Kanye West made in his interview on TMZ about the choice of slavery for black people. The rapper made this comment on the interview with Candace Owens. He spoke on “free thoughts” and how it’s going to free the world and make it a better place. He went on to say, “When you hear about slavery for 400 years. For 400 years?! That sounds like a choice” and this shocked everyone present at the interview.
After he made the controversial statement, Van Lathan responded to his comment which led to an intense argument. Kanye asked Van: “Do you feel that I’m being free, that I’m thinking free?”
Van replied, “I actually don’t think that you’re thinking anything. I think what you’re doing right now is actually the absence of thought. And the reason why I feel like that is because, Kanye, you’re entitled to your opinion, you’re entitled to believe whatever you want but there is facts and real world, real life consequences behind everything that you just said.
