Lady Arrested For Drug Trafficking In Saudi, Zainab Aliyu Joins The NDLEA

Life is a journey with loads of unique curveballs throwing and bewildering inspiring twists of events, recall the young Nigerian lady, named Zainab Aliyu, that was arrested for illicit trafficking of drugs from Nigeria to Saudi Arabia in 2018 but was later freed and acquitted of any wrongdoing. Zainab Aliyu who was at the time a student of Maitama Sule University, Kano State, had travelled to Saudi Arabia for a lesser Hajj alongside her mother and sister when she was nabbed over allegations that a bag belonging to her contained illicit drugs.

Her arrest had led to the discovery of an alleged drug cartel at the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport, the group reportedly transferred her excess luggage into the bag that contained the illicit drug.
