Lagos State Governor, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has launched a 4billion naira Lagos State Employment Trust Fund LSETF-W Initiative, in order to provide capital for women entrepreneurs.
The 54-year-old Governor took to his Twitter handle rto announce the new development, aimed at fulfilling his mandate of lifting Lagosians out of poverty. He noted that the initiative is one of the other projects put in place to carry out the mission successfully.

In another tweet, the Governor noted that he is confident about the roles the women will play in the future of Lagos and Nigeria at large. “I am confident about the roles our mothers and sisters will play in the future of Lagos and our country, and I hope this funding initiative will be the catalyst to build many women led legacy businesses“, he said.
