Hundreds of Pakistans mourned the tragic death of a Pakistani exchange student killed in the Santa Fe school shooting last week.
The victim, Sabika Sheikh, was among the 10 people killed at a high school in Santa Fe on Friday, when an armed student launched a shooting spree on his classmates.
Her burial held in Karachi, a densely populated city in Pakistan on Wednesday. Her relatives sobbed and consoled each other as Sheikh’s remains arrived at her family home in a casket designed with a Pakistani flag.
The body was then taken to a public meeting ground where hundreds gathered to say prayers and pay their respects before the burial at a nearby cemetery.
