Sad! Four People Confirmed Dead In Leicester Shop Explosion

Four people have been confirmed died in the explosion at a shop in Leicester while five others were rushed to the hospital, Leicester police declared a ” major incident” after the blast in Hinckley Road at about 7pm on Sunday.
Supt O’Neill said it was a dangerous scene, trained officers from the fire service and police had to be involved and at this stage no one can say the cause of the explosion or link to terrorism. He urge everyone to report if their loved one is missing.
Matt Cane, group manager at Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service, said crews worked through the night in a bid to find survivors and casualties, he said firefighters would be on the site for “a number of days” till the cause of the the explosion is found, from the Hinckley road to the junction which connect the Bolton road and Woodville road will be closed for now and advice all motorist to avoid the road for now.
