American-Nigerian singer, Emma Nyra has lashed out at Nigerians following the celebration that came with the arrest of alleged online scammer, Ramoni Abass, popularly known as Hushpuppi.
Taking to her Twitter page, the former Triple MG signee said she was bewildered at how pleased and joyous Nigerians we’re at the downfall of another person.
She wrote that even if Hushpuppi might have oppressed people with his ostentatious life online, there was no reason to wish him bad or celebrate his downfall.
“A lot of people are happy about what happened to Hushpuppi because he was oppressing them on social media. The truth is that rejoicing in his downfall is not gonna put money in your pocket. I’m tired of reading about someone else’s downfall. Let me jeje hustle my own.”
