In what can easily be described as the shock of the century, Manchester City forward, Leroy Sane has been left out of Germany’s final 23-man list for the 2018 World cup in Russia.
German tactician, Joachim Löw, preferred the recently injured Mesut Ozil and 32-year-old Stuttgart striker, Mario Gomez, over the Manchester city attacker, as the final 23-man squad are awaiting their June 17 opening match against Mexico. Checkout the full German squad below:
Manuel Neuer, Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Kevin Trapp, Jerome Boateng, Matthias Ginter, Jonas Hector, Mats Hummels, Joshua Kimmich, Marvin Plattenhardt, Antonio Rudiger, Niklas Sule, Julian Brandt, Julian Draxler, Mario Gomez, Leon Goretzka, Ilkay Gundogan, Sami Khedira, Toni Kroos, Thomas Muller, Mesut Ozil, Marco Reus, Sebastian Rudy, Timo Werner.
