Manchester City offensive defender, Benjamin Mendy has reinstated that Les Bleus are all out for victory in the forthcoming World Cup tournament.
The French defender said he sees no reason why France cannot win the World Cup in Russia.
Speaking in an interview with Canal+, Mendy said: “The goal is victory. The French team must win this cup. With the team we have, there is no reason not to go all the way.”
Mendy, who endured a trying time in his career after a serous injury ruled him out of football for almost 6 months, also resounded that he has fully recovered and is ready for the global tournament. Didier Deschamps’ men will be hunting for their second World Cup trophy, and the first since 1998.
