Former Transportation Minister, Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi, has arrived his polling unit, Ward 8 Unit 14 Ubima, Ikwerre Local Government Area, Rivers State.
Amaechi and his wife have cast their votes as accreditation processes have been smooth and hitch-free in the gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections.

Sources revealed that officials arrived very early in polling units 8, 13, & 16 in PHALGA Obiri Kpalukwuozu Orianwo Abali Rebisi as promised by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The election materials had disbursed voting materials from its Registration Area Centre, RAC in St Andre Primary School, Emenike to other polling units in Port Harcourt.
The INEC officials are said to have arrived Mgbundukwu Ward 15 Unit 009, and are currently in the process of accrediting voters.

It has been reported that there is a very high security presence in polling units across Port Harcourt.
