Coronavirus: Rita Edochie Celebrates Birthday By Praying For Nigeria

Rita Edochie is a year older today but is choosing to celebrate her birthday by going on her knees to pray for her country in Nigeria. The Nollywood veteran took to her Instagram page to share that she is a year older today but she will not be having a celebration but will be spending time appealing to God on Nigeria’s behalf.

According to the movie star Nigeria is going through a tough time at the moment and the one thing all citizens can do is to pray to God for the nation. She asked God to heal our land and forgive our sins.

“My GREAT people in the WORLD, today 16th April is my birthday but i will not celebrate it because it is only when you are happy you remember to celebrate. “I WILL BE ON MY KNEES PRAYING TO GOD ALMIGHTY FOR FORGIVENESS. I BEG OF HIM TO HEAL OUR LAND. THERE IS SO MUCH AGONY IN EVERY HOME. FORGIVE US LORD IN EVERY WAY WE HAVE SINNED AGAINST YOU PLEASE OH LORD. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭”.
