Former Premier League footballer, Rio Ferdinand, arrived in Lagos on Thursday night, November 29, on a 3-day visit as he works with Guinness to experience the passion of Nigeria’s football fans.The Man United legend joined local football teams as part of a coaching clinic and met fans/competition winners at the Guinness Africa stadium viewing centre event. He also visited the Guinness Flavour Rooms for a full immersion in the incredible Guinness.But one of the highlights of Ferdinand’s visit was his walk on the streets of Lagos which sparked a parade from adoring fans.The former Champions League winner touched down at the Murtala Muhammed Airport in Ikeja, Lagos and got a rousing welcome from fans.
