We all love the story of Olori Moremi Ajasoro, the brave woman who fought all odds to safeguard and free her people, our number one Yoruba feminist! And we were all held spell-bound by the beautiful portrayal of the heroic story and achievement of the Queen by the House of Oduduwa Foundation, Rejevenee, and Bolanle Austen-Peters Produced show, Queen Moremi The Musical. We enjoyed the soul pleasing combination of strong musical prowess, awesome costumes, and a gripping well-retold story, what a fine blend! The Moremi of Yorubaland, Mrs. Olufunso Amosun also shared that: “We are dedicated to telling our story and the story of Queen Moremi is about ultimate girl power, a woman who dedicated her life to ensure that her hometown of Ile Ife was safe from invaders. She was an epitome of great female leadership, as great leaders would always put the love of their people before themselves.
